Joshua Douglas-Booth


Joshua is an Associate in Trowers & Hamlins' Real Estate team.

Working in the Investment and Development sub-team, Joshua has advised on a broad range of real estate matters and has experience acting for a wide variety of clients (including registered providers of social housing, private developers, local authorities, pension funds and business owners).

Highlights include:

Acting for a renowned pension fund on various residential development acquisitions, following the creation of its for-profit RP;

Advising a joint venture on a major city centre mixed-use scheme, expected to result in circa 1,000 new homes;

Acting for a local authority on one of the largest urban regeneration projects in the UK and the most ambitious housing-led scheme ever undertaken in Manchester;

Acting for a developer on a complex acquisition for the purpose of carrying out a student accommodation development; and

Acting for a client on its purchase and sub-sale of part of a former power station.

He advises on a wide range of residential and mixed-use development schemes, property acquisitions and disposals and regularly helps clients achieve their goals and deliver complex and often high-profile real estate projects.
