Gurjit Singh

Gurjit acts on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions with a particular expertise in acting on behalf of major corporate occupiers and developers in connection with investment acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant, mixed-use transactions and hospitality deals.

He also handles the real estate aspects of property finance and corporate finance transactions.

Gurjit's principal clients include Burger King UK, Mitie Group Plc and its subsidiaries, Revelan Group and various Local Authorities and Pension Funds.

Gurjit's recent work includes:

  • Acting on behalf of a commercial investment and development company in connection with their forward commitment disposal (and construction) of an industrial unit for £10m.
  • Acting on two separate disposals for a local authority conditional on planning with overage for values of £3.5m and £1.58m respectively;
  • Acting on an acquisition and subsequent redevelopment of a former police station on behalf of a joint-venture into a residential scheme consisting of 102 apartments; and
  • Acting on behalf of a property investor in connection with a £2m refinance of their commercial real estate portfolio.

His ethos is to infuse drive and passion to every transaction, working closely with clients to not only achieve the desired outcomes, but assessing both the commercial need and legal risk in doing so.

Gurjit is a firm believer in building and sustaining strong relationships with clients and my approach centres around understanding each client's specific commercial concerns in any given transaction.
